Thanks to active, engaged volunteers and the generous participation of annual donors, the Yale Alumni Fund had another successful year. Annual giving contributed $40.4 million to the university across Yale College and all of Yale’s graduate and professional schools.
Donors make a tangible difference in the lives of Yale students and faculty when they give to the Alumni Fund. Annual gifts are put to use immediately, helping to fund financial aid, maintain facilities, enable professors to develop cross-disciplinary courses, and underwrite student activities.
Record-breaking year for the Parents Annual Fund
The Parents Annual Fund raised an all-time high of more than $4 million. Since the founding of the Parents Leadership Council in 2012, the Parents Annual Fund has doubled its fundraising results. In addition, the Class of 2021 parents raised over $1 million—becoming the first cohort of parents to achieve this milestone.
Strong performance across campus
The School of Art, the Divinity School, and the Law School had particularly strong years, exceeding their goals. The Yale School of Management topped its previous participation rate with a new milestone of 54.8 percent. The School of Forestry & Environmental Studies had its most successful year ever, raising more than $350,000.
